Highland Community Church
Life Together, Life in Christ

About us

The Highland Community Church was incorporated in July, 1966 by a group of people that felt there was a need for an independent, non-denominational, Bible believing church in this area. Through the years God has brought people our way that wanted to know Christ and grow in His grace. It’s been exciting to see God working in people’s lives.
Highland Community Church is the vision of life together, life in Christ. A community of Christians who know and care for each other. A Community of Christians who are devoted to the ways of Jesus and do so together.  Highland is committed to fellowship, rooted in Christ.
We believe that it is through the study of God’s Word, the worship of Him in song, and the fellowship of believers that Christians are able to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ( 2 Peter 3:18 ) By God’s grace we are endeavoring to grow more and more into the likeness of Jesus Christ, the One who gave His life that we might have eternal life with Him.

Pastor Christopher and his wife Christen have been here since March of 2021. They serve with an organization known as Village Missions which supplies pastoral leadership to independent, non-denominational churches in rural America and Canada.
