Section 1- The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. II Timothy 3: 16-17 II Peter 1: 20-21

Section 2 The Godhead
A. We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in Three Persons; Father, Son, Holy Spirit. I John 5:7 Genesis 1:26 John 10:30
II Corinthians 13:14 Matthew. 28:19.
B. We believe that God is a Spirit, and must be worshipped in Spirit and in truth. John 4:24

Section 3 The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
A. We believe that Jesus became man without ceasing to be God. He came into the world through the miraculous birth, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. John 1: 1-2&14 Isaiah 7:14 Luke 1:34-35
B. We believe that Jesus is obedient to God and gave His own life on the Cross of Calvary in order to redeem sinful men. John 6:38-40 John 3:16 Isaiah 53:6 Romans 5:8
C. We believe that Jesus truly suffered, was crucified, dead and buried. He arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, there sitting at the right hand of God, serving as our Intercessor, Mediator, and Advocate. I Corinthians 15:1-7 Mark 16:19 Hebrews 7:25 I Timothy 2:5 I John 2:1-2

Section 4 The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
A. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. John 16:7-8
B. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives within every person who trusts Christ as his/her personal Savior. We believe the Holy Spirit is the Divine Teacher and Counselor who guides believers into all truth. I Corinthians 6:19-20 John 14:16-17, 26 John 16:13

Section 5 Man’s Total Depravity
We believe that God created man in His own image, and by the disobedience of Adam, sin entered into the human race. Man became alienated from God and is not able to do anything of himself to remedy his lost condition. Genesis 1:26-67; 3:6-7 Romans 3:23; 5:12

Section 6 Salvation
A. We believe that salvation is a gift from God. A person is saved by grace through Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9
B. We believe the only way a person can receive this gift is by:
1. Recognizing his need of salvation because of his sinful condition.
2. Sincerely repenting and asking God to forgive him of his sin.
3. Trusting in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

C. We believe in the everlasting life of the saved, in Heaven, and the everlasting punishment of the unbeliever in Hell. John 3:18 & 36 Matthew 25:46

Section 7 The Assurance of Believers
A. We believe that the Holy Spirit testifies with our spirit, helping us to know that we are truly saved. Romans 8:16
B. We believe that a Christian who is out of fellowship with God because of unconfessed sin in his life is in danger of God’s discipline. Hebrews 12:4 -11
C. We believe that if we do sin, we can be renewed to fellowship with God, through confession and repentance of our sin. John 6:37 I John 1:5 – 2:2

Section 8 The Christian Life
We believe that real saving faith will be demonstrated in the daily life of the believer. Ephesians 2:10 Acts 26:20
A. He should strive to live a life that would glorify God, and would not bring reproach upon the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Romans 12:1-2 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
B. He should be willing to set aside personal goals and ambitions in order to serve the Lord with his whole body, soul and spirit. He should avoid even the appearance of evil. I Thessalonians 5: 21-24
C. He should separate himself from the world and all it’s religious apostasy and sinful pleasures, practices and associations. II Corinthians 6:14 – 7:1 I John 2:15-17 II Timothy 3:1-5 Ephesians 5:8-21
D. He should allow the Holy Spirit to control his life, so that he might demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit-filled life. Galatians 5:13-26

Section 9 The Purpose of Spiritual Gifts
We believe that God bestows the Spiritual Gifts on Individuals for the Divine purpose of serving God and others. I Corinthians 12:4-7 Romans 12:3-8 I Peter 4:10-11

Section 10 The Purpose of the Church
We believe the primary purpose of the church today is to evangelize the world by preaching the gospel and the disciplining of believers to maturity in Christ. Matthew 28:19-20 Acts 1:8-9 Ephesians 4:11-13
