Morning Service – God’s Eternal Plan
I.The Rapture or translation of the church 1Thess. 4:13-18 1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.   2 Corinthians 5:6-10 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. A. The Judgment Seat of Christ 1Cor. 3:10-15 (page: 1144) Time, Talents, and Treasures "Quality" NOT Quantity! Revelation 4:10-11 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."   B. Marriage Supper of the lamb Revelation 19:6-9 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!   For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.   Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God's holy people.)   Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” C. Preparation to rule with Christ Rev. 20: 1-10 (page 1251) II. Great White Throne Judgement Rev. 20:11-15 Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.   Two sets of books 1) The Lamb's book of life 2) “Books” that shows what they had “done” in life 2 Peter 3:13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.   III. New Heaven & New Earth Rev. 21:1-8   RAPTURE = Reward KINGDOM = Responsibility WHITE THRONE = Remorse NEW HEAVEN & EARTH = Rejoicing 1 Thessalonians 4:17 … And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Morning Service – The Kingdom on Earth
    Series: (All)
Christ's Kingdom Matthew 25 Last week Tribulation Period “kingdom” The kingdom is where the King is!   KEY EVENTS   1) Jesus returns in power & glory to set up His Kingdom (25:31) Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.   They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Dan. 12:1-2) Hebrews 11:39-40 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. 2) The separation of the sheep & goats Matt. 20:32-46 The sheep {believers} (34) –> the kingdom The goats {unbelievers} (41) -> eternal fire Test of their faith (35-40 & 42-45)   Two parables (Mt. 25:1-30) 10 virgins waiting for the bridegroom to come POINT: (13) “keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”   A wealthy man entrusts his wealth to three servants based upon their ability POINT: (21) If you are faithful to God today He will bless you during his kingdom Francis Chan, Crazy Love “When we work for Christ out of obligation, it feels like work. But when we truly love Christ, our work is a manifestation of that love, and it feels like love.”   3) The kingdom on earth Creation Romans 8:18-21 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.   For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it,   in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.   Health   Isaiah 35:5-7 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.   Longevity of life Isaiah 65:20 “Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. Great productivity Rapid turnaround in growing seasons Amos 9:13 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills

The Last Supper – Morning Service
Matthew 26:17-30 The Last Supper REDEMPTION The purchase back of something that had been lost, by the payment of a ransom. The Greek apolutrosis 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. “paid in full” 1 Peter 1:18-19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.   PASSOVER Annual birthday feast 1) The paschal lamb or goat   2) No male that was uncircumcised could join in.   3) Loins girt staff in his hand shoes on his feet ate standing 4) Bitter herbs   5) Family shared their Passover meal   Four key events   I. Preparation for the Passover (26:17-19) II. Judas the betrayer (20-25) A. Declaration (21) B. Reaction (22) C. Condemnation (23-25) John 13:27-30 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. "What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him,   but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him.   Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor. As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.   Acts 1:17-19 He was one of our number and shared in our ministry.” (With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)   (Matt. 27:3-5) Judas repented Metamelomai Metanoeo (verb) Metanoia (noun) True repentance (1) A true sense of one's own guilt and sinfulness (2) An appreciation of God's mercy and grace in Christ (3) An actual hatred of sin (4) A persistent seeking after a holy life in Christ's strength. Philippians 4:13 (KJV) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. III. New meaning to the Passover (26-28) A. THE BREAD (26) 1 Corinthians 5:6-8 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch–as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.   THE CUP (27-28) IV. Promise and Praise (29-30) A. Promise (29) B. Praise (30) Even as the Passover reminded Israel of its deliverance from Egypt so Communion reminds Christians of our deliverance from the slavery of sin through the blood of Christ. As Israel sprinkled the blood on the doorpost as a public declaration of their faith, so we join together as believers in Christ to publicly declare our faith in Christ. Even as Israel suffered for hundreds of years and ate the bitter herbs at Passover so we, as believers in Christ, are willing to suffer for Christ whatever that may be. As the Israelites ate their first Passover dinner with great anticipation for the journey that would follow the next day, so we serve our Lord ready to go wherever he calls us to go and to do whatever he calls us to do - looking forward to the day that we will go home to be with him. Thank you Father for your matchless gift. I pray in Jesus name amen. Psalm 115 (page: 608)

    Easter Morning Service
Exodus 12:21-23 Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.   John 10:15-18 … I lay down my life for the sheep…only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”   John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Matthew 25:46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Philippians 3:10-11 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Ephesians 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins (5) God made us alive with Christ (6) seated us with him in the heavenly realms. John 5:24 …crossed over from death to life.   If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, then neither would we! 1 Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.   Colossians 3:1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.   2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
