    Morning Service – Community
    Series: Community
Community I. People in a community have things in common. Proverbs 22:2 Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all. We are a community of Believers! ~ Common Faith Titus 1:4 To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. Jude 1:3(KJV) Common salvation ~ Common Temptations & escape routes 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. ~ Common Possessions Acts 2:44-45 All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Acts 4:32-35 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God's grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. II. People in a community have UNITY! ~ Unity is a choice 2 Chronicles 30:12 Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the LORD. ~ Untity is a blessing Psalm 133:1 How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity! ~ The world is watching believers John 17:23 I in them and you in me–so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. ~ Unity takes effort Ephesians 4:1-3 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

    Series: Daddys' Day
What is a father? Luke 3:38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. Malachi 2:10a Do we not all have one Father? Did not one God create us? Mark 14:36 “Abba, Father” Galatians 4:6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 3 qualities of our Heavenly Father 1. He loves you (John 3:16) 2. He is always ready to listen to you Jeremiah 33:3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.' 3. He disciplines his children because he loves them. Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. God is a father to the fatherless. Psalm 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 10:14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Morning Service – Life With a Purpose
Life with a Purpose God is Purpose Driven Isaiah 46:9-10 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.' 2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life– not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time Even unbelievers have a purpose in God's plan Romans 9:17-18 Work gives us purpose! 1 Chronicles 23:3-5 John 20:30-31 God's purpose may be very different than our purpose Acts 26:14-18 If it is God's purpose it is unstoppable Acts 5:27-39 Acts 13:36 “Now when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. We will be rewarded for remaining in His purpose 1 Corinthians 3:8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 1. Prioritize Your Life Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 2. Do what you love to do Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 3. Keep the door open for future opportunities Luke 19:17 'Well done, my good servant!' his master replied. 'Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.' 4. Avoid being lazy Proverbs 10:4 Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. Hebrews 6:12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. 5. The older we get, the harder it is to change Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”. Morning Service – Studying God’s Word
Studying God's Word 1) Know God/Christ personally & His plan 2) Know how to live for our Lord now, and focus on eternity with Him. 1. Textual Bible Study 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2. Topical / word Study John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commands. John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” Deuteronomy 6:4-9 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. 3. Biographical 4. Memorization / Meditation Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Psalm 119:97 Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. James 1:22-25 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it–not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it– they will be blessed in what they do.
