Gap Standers #3 Moses I. Between God & Man (Ex. 6:26-7:7) II. Between Man & God (Ex. 8:1-15) (Ex. 17:1-7) III. Between Man & Man (Ex. 17:8-15) Deuteronomy 25:17-19 Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and attacked all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God. When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget! 1 Samuel 15:2-3 This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' Exodus 24:14 He said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you, and anyone involved in a dispute can go to them.”

Easter Sonrise Service – Hell Seen at the Cross
    Series: (All)
Hell as seen at the Cross 1. Conscious Suffering “weeping and gnashing of teeth” 2. Darkness Matthew 27:45 From the sixth hour [noon] until the ninth hour [3 in the afternoon], darkness came over all the land” Matthew 11:20-24 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent… Chorazin..Bethsaida..Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you. 3. Surrounded by Demonic Powers Col. 2:15 ..having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. 4. Bearing (the full weight of) our Sin 1Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree. 2 Cor. 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us Isaiah 53:6 God laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all 5. Judgment Propitiation for sin -> The offering which appeases the wrath of one against whom an offense has been committed. God is Satisfied! Romans 3:25-26 God presented [publically] Christ as a sacrifice of atonement [propitiation], through the shedding of his blood–to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance (patience) he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished – he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. 6. Separated from the presence of God & his love. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might
