    Morning Service – Dealing with Son
    Dealing with Sin   What's the big deal? Jonathan (14:43)   Who can I blame for this? Saul (13:7-12) Who do we blame when we sin? Recycled sin (Ch 15) An old warrant out on the Amalekites   Very Specific Directions (3)   (15:11) God regrets Genesis 6:6 The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.     How can I get away with my sin? David & Bathsheba 2Samuel 11-12   James 1:15 Then, after desire (lust) has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
    Psalm 51 1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge. 7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. 9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. 13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you. 14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Savior, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness. 15 Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise.
    How are we dealing with the sin in our life? {Trash can or recycle}

What do you believe God can do through you if you'll just let him? A sign from God (8-10) Panic sent from God (15) (23) “the Lord saved Israel”.   Can you think of a time(s) in your life when you would say that God had saved you?   Often some of our greatest challenges come immediately after our greatest victories! Jonathan was not aware of the oath (27)   Do we forget to ask God what He wants some times?   Why was the army silent?   (41-44) The truth was revealed – that Jonathan had eaten honey.   Sometimes we make promises and commitments we can't keep.   Sometimes we get caught up in minor things and miss out on the more important things. Conquering Giants – Morning Service
    1Samuel 17 PRINCIPLES Truths that can be learned from God's Word.   Giants appear to be overwhelming Giants challenge your faith   Faith that is weak leads to fear when challenged   Unconquered Giants don't go away, they just keep coming!   If you are a person of great faith, don't be surprised if you're left alone at the battle line   People of great faith understand who they are fighting for   People of great faith have experienced great victories before   Man's way of defeating the enemy and God's way are often quite different.   Don't be surprised if the world hates you! John 15:18-19 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own.   As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.   That is why the world hates you.(NIV)   People of faith understand that there is a lot at stake in their lives.   Giant killers run toward the giant not away from him.
